Job Description: The Production Control Clerk compiles and records production data for our facilities maintenance contract and ensures the accuracy of records, reports, material use, quality control, and other aspects of maintenance and repair. You may perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record maintenance data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques. Calculate such factors man-hours used, materials used, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates, using a computer, calculator, and/or spreadsheets. Additional tasks include: writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed task instruction or work tickets for use by technicians as guides in maintenance and repair tasks. You will prepare work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities, compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies, prepare maintenance progress using charts, graphs, or pegboard based on statistics compiled for reference by technicians and management personnel. You will also sort and distribute work tickets or material and may compute wages from employee time cards and post wage data on records used for preparation of payroll.
Required Job Qualifications: HS Diploma or Equivalent. Security Clearance (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Desired Job Qualifications: Three to five years in production control and scheduling work in an industrial setting preferred. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management software programs a plus.
